Bilingual anthology of Greek poets RO/GR

 

 

I may not speak Romanian, but i am thrilled that the first publication of my work in an entirely poetry book is in Romanian and not in Greek, in other words that this publication preceded a personal poetry book of mine in Greek language. Being a (poetry) translator myself, i am once again ecstatic about the dynamic possibilities of language and translation that defy all sorts of limitations! So, i am grateful to the translators of this bilingual anthology of Greek poets i am having the pleasure to be part of, Angela Bratsou, Luminita Kotsopoulou and Stavros Deligiorgis. With this great venture and achievement of theirs, at such critical times, they are building bridges of substancial communication, collaboration and exchange, quite in the way that i understand our common calling. And once started... 😉
